In a nutshell: We play hard, fast, ever-charing beats. You just have to move, groove and enjoy the show!!

The Long

Torann started in 2002, when 6 drummers & percussions got together to do something completely different. This has become the matra of the group - to make people think again about drumming groups and what they can do.

This has mean that over the years, we have played very different gigs to very different crowds of people. We have played everywhere from techno clubs to corporate events, weddings to opening ceremonies and everything in between. Every crowd has got into it and looked for more.

We've been lucky too with the support we have had from various festivals, promoters and the like, in that they have booked us, watched us and asked us back

As a group, we all come from different musical backgrouns so there's lots of influences in the band. The style that this has created means it's very hard to categorise the type of drumming we play. It's not any of the common categories drumming bands usually fall into. We play hard, fast, ever changing beats, rhhythms and grooves.


All we ask is that when you see us, you move, you groove and you enjoy the show!
